This story includes some more embarrassing moments from my career. But they make for better reads. Right?

Shout Out
This entry has not so much to do with me or my writing. But because I write a lot about experiences in the adult industry, I think it's fair to point out that others do too.
Some of them have done it before me. Some of them continue to do it. And perhaps some do it better.

The End of Submission
I don't think I'm going to even try to submit this to lit journals. It's too much like a scrapbook entry. Too much of me bitching. But I hope it's an entertaining bitch.

Festival Screened Work
Sometimes I make movies. These have been screened at festivals
Nuclear (director)
The Extraordinary Monday of Herman Brumby (producer)

A Hole in the Ground
This is a fictional story that hasn't been able to find a home elsewhere, so I'm going to post it here. I'm trying to adapt a much longer, more complicated version of this into a little screenplay. It will probably never become a movie.
But for now it will serve as another reminder of my fear: domestication.

The Fire and the Thaw
This story first appeared online at Readjust Economies of Desire
It's one of my more personal stories. So I just want to say, as with all this memoir stuff, names are changed for the protection of real people. But if you are able to figure out who I'm talking about, this is all from my very subjective perspective. I don't think I've said anything bad about anyone else. But I understand if people are sensitive to the portrayal of their own lives.

In College (Part 2)
Here is the following chapter from that vampire non-sense. But there are some better pics at the end. Again, they feature me and Wolf Hudson. Kimberly Kane took the photos.
In College
Over the course of my six years in undergraduate studies (I transferred a lot, okay?), I wrote a novel-length manuscript. When I first started, I thought it was a great idea.
I wrote a book about vampires. Gay, black-metal loving vampires. But still... vampires.
The fuck was I thinking?
Needless to say, this has not been published. But I solicited some help from Kimberly Kane and Wolf Hudson to do some promotional photos. I'd hate for them never to see the light of day.
And if for some reason, you're reading this and think you'd actually like to see this in print, I'm going to post some excerpts.

Flash Memoir
The online lit journal, Thirst for Fire, was kind enough to publish a short memoir I wrote about my days as a Craigslist hooker. It was always on accident. Hah.

Second Entry, Second Story
The second story I've had published is a work of fiction.
"To Lose My Life: In Eight Movements"
A suicidal, post-modern teen is abducted by bank robbers.
Also, I was listening to a lot of White Lies at the time. Hence, the title.

This Blog
My name is not hard to find if you search the links below. But most people who've heard of me probably know me as Danny Wylde. If you don't know who that is (more than likely), a simple Google search should do the trick.
I've set up this blog to share things I do other than porn. Some of those things include writing about porn. Or writing about experiences outside of porn. Or writing fiction. Or posting some things that have nothing to do with writing (probably not that often).
My first published story is titled, "Nothing Profound."
